What We Know, and What We Don't
Effective July 16, 2026 · The short version: we collect almost nothing, and we sell none of it.
1. Who We Are
NameCrush ("we", "us") operates namecrush.com, a marketplace for domain names held by their owner. For anything in this policy, contact info@namecrush.com.
2. What We Collect
Only what you type into the site:
- Offers — your email address, the domain, your offer amount and any message you include.
- Contact messages — your email address and the message.
- Newsletter sign-ups — your email address.
We do not run accounts, so there are no passwords to store. We never see payment details — payments happen entirely on Escrow.com during a transaction.
3. How We Use It
To reply to you, to negotiate and complete a sale you initiate, and — only if you signed up — to email you when new names are listed. Nothing else. We do not sell, rent or share your information with advertisers.
4. Where It Lives
Submissions are stored in our private CRM (hosted by Notion Labs, Inc.) and are visible only to the owner. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, request path) for security and performance.
5. Cookies and Tracking
The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser's local storage is used only to remember interface preferences. Domain photography is loaded from Unsplash's CDN, and fonts from Google Fonts; those services see standard image/font requests from your browser.
6. Third Parties in a Sale
If we agree on a deal, the transaction runs through Escrow.com, which has its own privacy policy and will collect what it needs to process payment and comply with financial regulations. That relationship is between you and Escrow.com.
7. Retention and Your Rights
We keep offer and contact records for as long as they are commercially relevant. Email us at any time to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted — deletion requests are honored within 30 days. Newsletter emails stop the moment you reply "unsubscribe".
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with an updated effective date.
